The artist possesses a unique infatuation with horticulture. His love for plants is often displayed in his passion for the creation of art. This series is comprised of both medium and large size plates and bowls. Evident in all pieces are a combination of color schemes, geometric shapes, flora and water themes that are present in nature so abundant in the myriad of rainforests throughout the country of Malaysia.
What’s so special about Sarawak?
It’s the largest state in Malaysia on the island of Borneo. It famous for its many ethnicities and cultures as well as its wild and beautiful rainforests. The adventurer in you will find the cave systems at Gunung Mulu National Park as inspiring as it is enchanting. An interesting fact is that Sarawak possesses more national parks and wildlife reserves than the rest of Malaysia combined. The amazing variety unique plants (such as the rafflesia flowers) and animal life (only in Borneo, Malaysia and Sumatra, Indonesia will you find the homes of wild orangutans) makes the destination of Sarawak an absolute must-see!
